This place has fantastic views of Denver and golden. There's also a little shop right next to it that serves food that's very good but a bit on the more expensive side. They also have Colorado nic nacs for sale again kind of a tourist spot so on the expensive side. I highly suggest going up to this spot from golden lots of fun good views and lots of switchbacks for motorcycle riders. Please drive the speed limit bicyclist use that road and lots of foot traffic!!!!

Enjoyed this far more than I thought I would! I didn't know much about Buffalo Bill before this visit and enjoyed learning about his life and his famed Wild West show.

The grave site sits on prefect vantage point and I can see why Cody wanted this to be his final resting place.

If you are in Golden make the 10 minute trip up to the museum and grave. It is some fantastic artifacts and tells the story of William Cody's traveling show which is a part of American history.

The museum is the home to the grave of Buffalo Bill Cody and a massive gift shop. Amazing views and lots of history abound. A great spot for contemplating with good friends. This is definitely a magical place.

The museum does a fantastic job with showcasing the artifacts in the exhibits.

As far as the museum goes, I give it 5 stars. Wonderful remodeled museum displaying the life & legacy of William "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Admission is approx. $5, varying on if you are a senior, child, or adult. As far at the grave goes, I give it 4 stars. While it was interesting & historic, the viewing machine was out of order. Don't visit the grave first like I did. I at first assumed he was one of those "macho" soldiers in the Indian Wars, & that he was a gun loving, Native American hater. I was happily mistaken, & revisited his grave with much respect for him as I found in the museum that he was an abolitionist, trailblazer, women's rights supporter, & close friend to Native American tribes. As far as the restaurant goes, I give it 1 star. I didn't even eat there, but I saw the "cook" touching the food with his bare hands. I put cook in quotation marks because the menu was just frozen store bought stuff! I can't say much better for the gift shop... very tacky. Overall, I give this complex 3 stars, but an overall 4 to 5 stars for the museum & grave.
