Incredible museum, surprising selection of specimens and one of the more impressive meteorite collections I've seen in the West. Love this place. One day maybe I'll be able to enroll here... :)
Worth spending an hour or two in here just to look at all the pretty rocks. Wish it had been built on a bigger space to accommodate for more experiences. Feels like a high school science lab in some places.
This is a small geology museum on the CSM campus, just off the main lobby in a research building. It's good for both kids and adults as it has many interesting looking samples of minerals and jem stones. Keep in mind that it is small and it will probably take one hour at maximum to see it.
Deciding to go was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Seriously breathtaking walking through all the gemstones, crystals, mineral, and fossils. I'll never be in Golden and not go now.
I adore this museum! Anytime I am in Golden, I definitely stop by. The collection is great, with new additions front and center when you come in, and beautiful specimens on both floors. It's the perfect place to bring anyone that likes rocks, minerals, spacerocks, etc. It's awesome for kids and adults alike.
