What a horrible experience. We were out on our driveway when he pulled up. He told us we should use his services, and we said no. He started cussing at us and drove away. He completely harassed us on our own property. What a horrible way to advertise.
I was home with my sick son today. He was napping when someone rang our doorbell - the Horizon Foods guy. I explained that I couldn't talk because he had just woken up my son - I was a bit irritated. The salesman berated me because he "thought we would be nice with that sign in your yard" (we have a sign welcoming neighbors). I don't need your rude salespeople making my day harder. The only people home during the day do NOT want to be interrupted.

Any company that still uses door to door salespeople needs a wake up call. This is ten times worse than telemarketing - NO ONE likes this method of advertising. I assume you do get some buyers this way, but I can't see how it could possibly defray the cost of having an employee driving around all day long.
